Marinoa City FUKUOKA is an urban life spot where you can enjoy a resort lifestyle full of entertainment, such as the main outlet mall (offering various services, many of them presented for the first time in Kyushu or Japan), sports equipment stores, car product stores, interior shops, a baby specialty mega store, some restaurants, a Ferris wheel, and many amusement facilities.

Marinoa City, established in October 2000, is a commercial complex centered around Kyushu’s first full-scale outlet mall located in Fukuoka’s hot spot, the “Marinoa” district of the Nishi-Area.
As the floor space of the Outlet Building was increased in July 2004, over forty new outlet shops and “Kyushu no Mura Ichiba” were opened. Family World, containing one-stop baby specialty shop “Babies R’ Us,” was newly introduced at the site in November 2004.In September 2007, Outlet Building III was constructed, leading the mall to be a mega-scale shopping center with a total of 169 stores.

Located in an open atmosphere on the waterfront adjacent to the marina yacht harbor, the facility’s outer appearance has the image of dockside warehouses.

Outlet Mall, the center of Marinoa City, is in the Outlet Building located on the western side of the site. A variety of outlet stores, featuring designer brand and brand name manufacturers in different categories from fashion to lifestyle, awaits shoppers to come and enjoy shopping at amazing outlet prices. At the vaulted ceiling hall “Big Step”(grand staircase),a wide variety of events are held on weekends, during summer vacation and year-end and New Year holiday seasons. In the Outlet Building II, you can find many famous select shops such as SHIPS OUTLET, UNITED ARROWS Outlet, B.C STOCK and more. Well-designed open spaces around the Outlet Building, organic garden with the images of streams in rocky mountains and a geometric court designed with water and bamboo, are the perfect oasis for shoppers to rest while also savoring the tasty local foods from “Kyushu no Mura Ichiba.”

Outlet Building III, opened in 2007, is connected from Building II for all-weather shopping. It offers great variety of designer brand outlet stores for sexy fashion, casual fashion, sportswear and outdoor supplies, as well as more select shops. Lifestyle-enriching shops, such as Asahiya Bookstore and P2 pet shop, were also newly opened in this zone.

The oceanfront Marina Side Building features mega shops and specialty shops such as Yellow Hat, Sports Depo, Home Fashion Nitori as well as amusement facilities including a Ferris wheel “Sky Wheel” and Taito Station.
The Family World, opened in November 2004, has Kyushu’s first full-line baby specialty shop“BABIES R’ US”, “UNIQLO”, and other shops where families with babies and kids can enjoy their daily shopping.

The oceanview restaurant zone and the 60 meter tall “Sky Wheel” are famous date spots where you can relax on the boardwalk and deck and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere as if you are in a resort.
